All three of the kids have been pacifier/thumb suckers. They all love(d) the paci...I'm embarrassed to admit that Owen still LOVES his. Owen loves the paci so much that he was walking around with two in his mouth this morning....he's addicted! This is a habit I've got to break sooner rather than later! Tatum is our little thumb-sucker and as you can see from the photo, Isaac has just discovered his thumb as well.

How cute! Don't worry too much about Owen still having a paci....Jamie does as well. Jamie loves his and Jordan enjoys hers too. I tell myself that Jamie could have a lot worse habits than having a paci and I don't think he'll be heading off to school with one in his mouth when he gets older...at least I hope! :) If you do try to get rid of the paci with Owen please pass along any ideas that you used!:)
My kids are thumb-suckers too. I would guess that it is definitely fine at his age, after all its a comfort thing, right? My neighbor told me a way that really helped when it was time for her son to be done with his paci, she cut a small hole in the tip of the pacifier (his favorite), then every few days would cut it to be a bigger hole, then bigger... I guess it affects its "magical sucking power" and they eventually don't like it or want it anymore. Hope its just that easy. :)
